Filmmaking for Kids (grades 3 & 4)
Fall Session
Description
This is an exciting class where kids in 3rd and 4th Grades can create their own mini movies! Filmmaking for Kids is designed to be fun and engaging, while also teaching children storytelling and filmmaking techniques. We'll begin with learning how to construct a strong story with a beginning, middle, and end. Students will learn how to use the camera, and choose the right angles and shots to meet their vision. With 100% hands-on learning, students will have the opportunity to write, direct, shoot, edit, and act in multiple movies. The young filmmakers will get to explore their talents and bring their imagination to life in this immersive, and entertaining environment. The 8-week session will culminate in a screening of our films for family members and friends. Saturdays 1:45-2:45pm 127 Main Street (at GaragePod) in Dobbs Ferry, NY. DATES: Sep 7 Sep 14 Sep 21 Sep 28 Oct 12 Oct 19 Oct 26 Nov 2 Wednesday, Nov 6th at 6:45 - screening for family and friends!
