Description
This is an exciting class for kids age 8-11 where they can create their own mini movies! Filmmaking for Kids is designed to be fun and engaging, while also teaching children storytelling and filmmaking techniques. We'll begin with the science of storytelling, and how to construct a strong story with a beginning, middle, and end, and the conflict that runs throughout. Students will learn how to use the camera, and choose the right angles and shots to meet their vision. The young filmmakers will get to explore their talents and bring their imagination to life in this immersive, hands-on environment. Caroline Gordon-Elliott is an experienced filmmaker, screenwriter, and actor who has taught adults and kids in New York and Los Angeles. Her love for the craft of filmmaking and acting and years of experience in education show through her ability to inspire and nurture young talent. Email Caroline@MissCGE.com with any questions.
