Yes, I'm a formatting zealot. Many people scoff at the formatting "rules," and I understand why. Sure, if they love your script, they're not going to care that you used "Cut To" too often. But if you're sending your script out to people who don't already love you, I recommend putting out the most acceptably formatted script you can, so they don't judge you for anything other than the quality of your work.

The humor in this post made the frustration around formatting rules feel a lot more relatable than most academic discussions.
